Suzuki recently revealed the new 2021 Hayabusa on 5th February. Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd has started teasing the 2021 Hayabusa giving us hint that its launch is around the corner – but there is no official date announced yet.The biggest change on the new 2021 Hayabusa is the all-new design.
The 2021 Hayabusa also gets position lights adjacent to the air intakes – these lights also double up as turn indicators. At the back, the new Hayabusa now gets split LED taillamps as well. The 2021 Hayabusa is now 4kg lighter than before. It’s powered by the same 1,340cc inline-four engine but made to produces less power output 188bhp and 150Nm.
Suzuki has done well to keep the weight in check by making use of lighter pistons reprofiled cam shafts, conrods, valve springs and more. Additionally, the new sub frame is 700g lighter and the redesigned exhaust also shed 2kg. The 2021 Hayabusa is now 4kg lighter than before. All the changes allow the new Hayabusa to cross the 100km/h mark in just 3.2 seconds – that’s two-tenths of a second quicker than the model it replaces.
While there is no official statement about the launch of the Hayabusa in Indian market. Expect it to be launched at an ex-showroom price of around Rs 16-18 lakh.
