Toyota Hilux

Toyota has finally launched the Hilux in Indian market with a starting of ₹33.99 lakh (ex-showroom) for the entry-level Standard variant. The Hilux is available in two trims- Standard and High. The High MT variant costs ₹35.8 lakh, and the High AT variant costs ₹36.8 lakh.

Powering the Hilux is a 2.8-litre turbo diesel engine producing 201 bhp and 420 Nm of torque in manual transmission while the six-speed automatic gearbox produces 201 bhp and 500 Nm of torque. The Hilux gets 4X4 system as standard with an electronic locking differential and a limited-slip differential, hill descent control and a water wading depth of 700mm.

The Toyota Hilux gets automatic LED headlamps, LED fog lamps and tail lights, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, dual-zone climate control, engine push-button start-stop, and 60:40 rear split seats. The pickup truck also gets two drive modes- Eco and Power.

As per safety the Hilux gets seven airbags, hill assist control, vehicle stability management, front and rear parking sensors, rear parking camera, ABS, active traction control system, and speed alert system as standard. 

The Hilux is available in 5 color options which include- Grey Metallic, Emotional Red, Silver Metallic, White Pearl, and Super White. The Toyota Hilux is a direct rival to Isuzu D-Max V-Cross.
